I am 28yrs old and married with 2 little girls, Nicole (9) and Brittany (3). I started riding at the age of 8 at Crooked Creek Riding Center. I knew from an early age that this is what I would do with my life. I have always had a passion for horses and a real talent teaching horses and kids. It has been a long hard road to get here but it was worth every bump along the way.

MY STORY

When I turned 12yrs old I started Volunteering at the YMCA Equestrian program in Lexington, SC.  I learned the value of hard work and what it means to be a good horseman. I worked in return for riding lesson. When I turned 14yrs old the director of the YMCA sent me ride with Debbie Poole of Poole's Training Center. By the age of 15 I was already assistant Director of the equestrian program. I attended many CHA meetings. At the age of 16 I became Director of the YMCA EQUESTRAIN PROGRAM.  At the same time from age 16 to age 17 I also rode under Cathy Cram (owner of PSJ) when she was managing Hendrix Farms, then called Cranberry Stables.  I took a break when I had my first daughter, Nicole. I then returned to the YMCA and worked as an instructor from age 19 to 22. I then went to work at THREE FOX FARMS in Blythewood, SC. I took a few lessons under Adrian Terry. I then went to work for Shaun Gandia in Lexington, SC. She held many titles and championships in A/O jumpers. This was a great opportunity for me. I had been exposed to the world of hunters but had a strong desire to learn JUMPERS. There were not many trainers in the area that worked in this discipline. She taught me a lot. I rode with her for 3yrs.

BEING BRAVE!

I then decided to venture out on my own. I started to build up my business, Peele Court Stables. It has been a huge success. Earlier this year I decided that I wanted to be able to offer my clients a little more. I checked into different riding clubs, the pony club and then I talked to Paulette Gay about the 4-H program. I knew it was for me. Not to mention the demand for this. Being a part of 4-H opens a lot of doors for my lesson kids.

Me in the back ground running my mouth!
